Again, I put out bids and had trouble bidding because my money was tied up in existing bids. When all of those were matched or went too high for my liking, I was a little stuck. I shouldn't have to keep defending myself about this.

Didn't mean it offensively, just saying that it's a bummer that a guy like nene and a rookie can fetch $10.

I just remember last year when DC and Sydney had an over abundance of cash towards the end of free agency. DC ended up heavily front loading Matthews and overpaying him heavily on the first year, that worked out pretty well considering the first year is essentially free money since you can only roll over $20

No offense taken Thai, I just wish people in this league would give me some time and let me build a solid team.

Screw you Dan, big middle finger to you for saying that.

Jason Marquis and Chris Carpenter were not retired at the time that my team was taken from me. I am definitely not the most knowledge about baseball and I'll admit I was a bottom feeder team but at least I made an effort to stay competitive each year. I can definitely attribute my team sucking from having to learn a new sport on the fly but that does not mean I am not active nor just quit without saying anything. I woke up to an email saying that I had been removed from the league, holy shit I was pissed but I saw that you already had a new owner who was supposed to be really good. That turned out well?

I work run my team a specific way and that has worked out well for me in hoops, I don't pay on salaries nor do I cut players needlessly if I can attach them to a trade. Besides San Diego in hoops, I am the only other person with a completely CLEAN released/traded sheet. If I cut Marquis or Carp then they would've instantly become negative assets that are immovable off my roster sheet. I run my team the way I see fit and that was how I saw worked. I've been fined in the past in BoS for something that totally made sense to me but didn't to the rulebook and I was ok with that.

I quit hockey because it honestly wasn't enjoyable to me and if I had the same feelings about baseball I would've done the same. So screw you Dan and your snide little comments you've made throughout the year about me and baseball.

In fairness he's never gonna be able to use all that money and its his first preseason with team, so he pretty much getting a rookie and nene for free cos he's not gonna care about that $10 when he has $50 to rollover and can't unless he makes other moves.

There's noone better than nene on the FA market now and he needs players and he is also looking at trying to get some young contracts and I doubt there's anyone better than Mitch McGary to take a flier on rookie wise who is even available for some dollars either.

It worked out well for both our needs.

Its the start of a new awesome NBA season so lets have some fun and not start arguing with each othe until at least week 4 ok? Wink

Nba is back baby!!!
