haha no worries, well from what i've read it looks like he is out for the year.

so you can use this again:

Cap Exception for Injured Reserve: If a player has a long-term injury and is out for the remaining of the season, his cap hit is still counted; however, the team is permitted to replace him with one player whose salary is equal to or less than that of the injured player.

Just wondering...Prague has no cap space left, with $0 in balance, so unless he creates cap space, he can't use the "cap exception". Is this right?

Cap space, yes. But you still need money to sign a player.

Just checking bc that's my interpretation. I could be wrong Goro.

I think you are wrong beacause i got 3m cap space last year from the same player, just realise what difference would be to keep him just ir, it would be the same as you suggested and it would be no exception

Ok, right. I was thinking more of real life scenarios where owner would have to dip into real money...doesn't work for fantasy.

Just ignore me Embarassed

haha yes you essentially get 3 mil to spend, but be wary of multi year deals where if pronger comes back next year you are on the hook for his salary and the salary of those guys you signed. so this is mainly to give you extra cash for THIS YEAR but you can sign guys longterm as long as you never go negative money
