I think we should revert back to placing a time limit to each draft pick. With each passing day there is more information known that wasn't available to those who already picked guys. This information is in the form of Summer League games, injuries, etc. I don't think it is fair for people to sit on picks for days. Let's be reasonable guys.

Well I am trying to move them but yes each day is more summer league games thus giving us a better idea of guys and where they are at.

To add to it, there are trades and FA signings that are happening that can move rookies stocks up or down depending on roster depth.

There will be no time limits to this draft, and seriously are you going to gauge value off summer league? Did trusting value off preseason teach anyone anything? Cmon man smh

Uh it's more than summer league. It is about trades, FA signings etc. 

If tomorrow Porter and Ariza were traded, you don't think Glen Rice Jr would of been taken sooner? 

Most leagues get this thing done in 2 hours for 12 rounds of players being picked. You really think we need 2 weeks for 2 rounds of players?

Or if one example isn't getting through, how about if those same two players get injured? This is hardly about summer league.

We all started drafting with the knowledge that it was UNTIMED and all that.

I do not mind Darrin's delay as there was a potential rule change being discussed during the time as well.

Well everyone was afforded the same time frame. We could still be stuck on JI's first draft pick if he really wanted to.

Nah, Dustins doing a good job taking over the summer duties right now. 

Have you checked the football schedule? 
Dan pushes back everything so there can actually be a break during the offseason.
I actually want to enjoy my break and theres nothing wrong with that.

haha funny stuff.  Yea the summer league can't be trusted at all!  It's like pickup ball haha.

I started the draft when I did to give us something to do.  Hockey ended, hoops ended, baseball has hit a lull.  It was after all those things and before the madness of football here in a week.  It turned out well.  I don't believe any timelines have been set but I can imagine the next basketball activities will be after the madness of football has settled down and yahoo has opened basketball back up.

I'll process this within the next couple of days.
