Yikes.  I wonder if we can open up discussion on making the bid rules a little less stringent.  I was waiting until today to bid again, but am not in the habit  of checking each bid to make sure it's legal. Maybe we could reset the 24 hour clock at the point the illegal bid was identified?

I see what you're saying but then it could end up being a super extended bid period. If we had reset the 24 hour clock when I identified it then it would be have taken Dustin 44 hours to win the bid if no one else decided to bid. I know I've contributed a few views but this thread has 45 views currently so it's been looked at by a few set of eyes.

I see how the remaining bids can seem insignificant but it does affect the strategy in bidding since you would bid differently knowing there's less bids available to the others. Something like their age and years pro don't have any impact on a bid but I know I would bid differently if you only had 1 bid left instead of 2 bids. I suggest bidding early and often with your strongest comfortable bids.

Plus, it creates a system where you can go around making illegal bids to keep a person from winning a bid...essentially extending the bid forever or at least enough time to keep the person from adding the player in time for a matchup.

I think the only solutions are to:
1) keep as is and be extremely careful about making legal bids
2) Get rid of the illegal bid rule.  All bids are corrected (rounded up) to the nearest legal bid

Sorry about messing this up guys. I was aware of the 10% rule, just didn't read the fine print I guess. I'll accept whatever you guys deem fit going forward. My bad...

#2 is interesting and can be done, so we have less of this issue in the past.
