Was moved to LTIR, I believe it hockey that means you're shut down for the season, and salary no longer counts against team cap.

you get to sign 1 other player for up to the price of the LTIR player but the entire LTIR players salary still counts on the cap.

Addition about this situation: in the NHL LTIR is only a minimum of 10 games and they only get daily cap relief from this. In our league you can only LTIR if a player is shut down for the season which is not the case here (I believe).

Oh, I thought it was like football IR. The sabres have two on LTIR, both players are out for the year.
