I have no memory of this poll, and this is what the rule book says (which I think should always be the source of truth):

This is in the voting booth section of the forums where we’ve voted on any rule changes. This was voted on over three years ago and nobody has had a problem with it. I don’t see how you interpret this as having a separate set of rules for different people.

I get what you are saying this and I’m not trying to argue with you, but if it was done 3 years ago it’s really something that should be in the rule book. This isn’t a recent change and it’s not there, I don’t sense check what’s in the rule book through forums etc I go by what’s there so I get the other perspective above as wel bud. It hasn’t come up much because it’s a rule that generally speaking i don’t think comes up to much? I’m not expecting it to affect any of these bids but like I said... the fact it wasn’t in the rules meant I lost out on Lebron bidding because I went off it and didn’t want to have to do the 60%

For the record, I don't have a problem with the rule, just with the rule book not reflecting it.  It has also affected my bidding.
