* Free Agent Deadline Exception: After the deadline if a team has a player get injured the team can make a roster move to cover the injured player.
o The teams roster must have 12 active players.
o The IR must be full with 3 injured players.
o The player signed will use cap space and be signed to a 1 year/$1M contract.
o There will be no waiting period and the player can be added immediately.
o No players need to be cut when using this exception.
o There is no limit to this exception as long as the team has enough cap space to cover all the players signed.
o Once the playoffs begin this exception cannot be used.
o The TC must approve the transaction.

Re: Free Agent Deadline Exception
Can you also add that these newly signed players cannot get any contract extensions as well or a sign and trade cannot happen either (if voted on)?
