2012-13 FCC FINAL WEEK

We have reached the final regular season matchup for the 2012-13, or really the 2013 FCC season. Going into this week, last years champion, Prague Goros is the only team that has clinched a playoff spot. It would take a miracle for Michigan to pass Akron in the central as Akron holds a 19 point lead. In the West, Green Bay holds a 22 point lead on Denton. Denton would need a sweep by Philly, and a sweep of their own to make the playoffs. The Wild card battle is down to 3 teams. Tarrytown holds 11 and 14 point leads over Philly and Michigan respectively. As it worked out, no one will get an easy matchup this week. The bottom 4 seeds will not play a factor in the race for the playoffs. #12 Port Matilda closes the season vs #11 Colorado, while #10 London faces #9 Toronto.

Injury prone Akron may have caught an injury break this week as Tarrytown may be suffering from the biggest injury since Philly lost Erik Karlsson. Sidney Crosby and his broken jaw could play a huge factor this week. Will the loss of Crosby negatively affect Chris Kunitz? Will Crosby's injury cause the normal spike to Tarrytown forward Evgeni Malkin's production? Will Tarrytown forward Steven Stamkos heat up now that he is the favorite to pass Crosby for the Art Ross trophy?
