here is the rule JI

Bidding on F/A's: When bidding on a posted f/a, teams are allowed to bid a Max of 3 times per player. The original post or illegal bids do not count as bids.
Bidding Equal Years:
When bidding under $10M per season: A bid may be a minimum of a 10% increase of the Avg salary. If the bid is under $1M per season, 2 of the 3 bids will be charged.
When bidding $10M per season or more: The bid must be a minimum of $1M per season more.

Wouldn't the 2/2/3 bid count as 2?

AZ bids 2.5/2.5/3.5
KC bids 3/3/4 Wouldn't this bid be illegal because this would be counted as 2 bids making it 4 total?

oh man so spot on. should have paid more attention to detail. so i guess, though i would still go as high as my final bid, it will not count anyway.

well TECHNICALLY even then if you wanted your 5/5/5 bid would count as your last bid because it is over $1 of my 3/3/3 bid....

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo if we pretended that your 3/3 bid never happened then your 5/5/5 would be valid.

Right? Unless you wanna take back your bid in which case I'd be ok with that since I was completely and utterly unaware of the maximum number of bids rule.

his second bid don't count it was up to the team posting next to catch it, not KC. KC's last bid is legal so that were we should stand. Since he had one illegal bid (2yrs 6m w/option: $3/3/4) this should have been three years min. to be good. HE one has post two bid not count First bid.

so KC's Last bid of
3yrs $15m w/option

$5/5/5/6.25

should stand as the last bid posted NOW.
