Draft Lottery
Just so I make sure to watch the draft lottery correctly tonight, are these the matchups?
Buffalo = London (25%)
Florida = Sudbury (18.8%)
Edmonton = Colorado (14.2%)
Calgary = Toronto (10.7%)
NYI = AnnArbor (8.1%)
Vancouver = Michigan (6.2%)
so I have an 8.1 percent chance of getting first pick as NYI does?

Re: Draft Lottery
yep, the draft lottery only affects the 6 non playoff teams, and it only matters to us for the first 3 picks selected by the lottery, so after the first 3 picks are determined, the rest is just in order of reverse win-loss records.

Re: Draft Lottery
So really I get the 1st pick as long as Buffalo,Carolina ,Toronto,Winnipeg,Anaheim, Jersey, Nashville, Phoenix, or Washington win the 1st pick in the lottery right?

Re: Draft Lottery
Yes under the condition that the 2nd overall pick goes to buffalo if any of those other teams get 1st overall. So if somehow (im not sure if this is possible with the draft) but if Nashville wins 1st overall and florida wins 2nd overall, then florida would recieve the 1st overall pick in our draft and you would draft wherever buffalo ends up. But if that situation is impossible then yes you are correct.
