After discussing with all the members of the TC, we have decided against passing this trade forward.
As you pointed out the pick was for the money, so looking forward the trade goes down as this.

Wade, Yao for Pierce, Chandler, Favors.
Looking at it value-wise, there is no way pierce, chandler, favors is enough to net wade and yao.
Favors is unproven, could be a star, yet we have no idea yet.
Pierce is past his prime and his stats will be declining as time progresses.
Unless Chandler is viewed as a future All-Star, the net worth of value here should not net Wade and Yao.

well, really the pick was half for yao and half for the money, don't know if that changes minds cause I would never give away a first for just 2.5mil, not sure if this can factor in but just an explination.

Kirk hinrich is being added to this deal going to NY contract is 1yr 1mil I believe

he could have agreed when you were talking to him on aim or wherever else.
if its not on this post that he agreed its not a valid trade, simple as that.
the TC does not have to review the trade if he didnt agree on here.

If this is something like yahoo you push accept trade and you can't take it back which is exactly what he's doing he gets away with it then ill do it sometime down the road and so will another person and I don't want to deal with this poop again and I know no one else does either

My two cent if Mike has the AIM of him telling you yes, then i agree with mike there no room in the league for this. It make mike look like he is being shading when he was only trying to fix trade for a pass. Now if NY had 2nd thoughts and AIM mike back after you posted thats is another thing, but for NY to come here and say that he is cancelling the deal after he accepted it over AIM.

Am on OAK side on this one. I for one have canceled deals with mike in the past but i cancelled then prior to any post. Yeah mike was pissed with me, but i had second thoughts and just did not want to deal.

JI, there should be no PASS cause he is new, not for this. if it was a rule mistake maybe but for an agreement between to owners. the forum should not always the be all end all, but once an agreement is made by what is an important arm of our league ie. text, IM, PM that should be it! then we come here to post.

I'm going to talk to both Mike and Gary today. As far as I'm concerned by leagues rules, a deal is not a deal until everyone involved in the trade has agreed on the forum. If there was some kind of virtual hand shake thru some form of texting, well... that's not cool. I'm not sure if it's grounds for removal but it's definitely not gentleman like, being a gentleman's game and all...

From My understanding Duncan can not be traded because he was a RFA sign over the summer, Both bravo and I have been updating the contract page with a note beside the RFA's from this summer to remind you guys of that fact. Duncan is on my list to update tonight. Mike if you look at your page you will see i updated Dirk last night and been working on this and will complete the list by tonight.
