Playoffs Set To Begin!
Congrats to the 4 Teams who will be competing in the 1st FCC Playoffs!
Prague
Philly
London
Michigan
Sadly the 4th ranked overall Team (tarrytown) will be missing out on the playoffs due to the divisions winner system which puts Prague, London, and Michigan in the playoffs with Philly taking the Wildcard spot. It was a tight race to the finish and now just 2 weeks left to determine the first ever FCC champion!
Sorry Eric =/ If we had a 3 way all star game with East Vs. Central Vs. West... the east would win
Week 1 matchups of the playoffs:
#1 Prague Vs. #4 Michigan: The long road trips haven't seemed to bother the only European team in the FCC, as the Prague Goros have been steadily winning week after week to maintain control of the #1 spot.
Key Players for Prague: John Tavares (NYI-C) Corey Perry (ANH-RW) Jaime Benn (DAL-C) Roberto Luongo (VAN-G)
Key Players for Michigan: Pavel Datsyuk (DET-C) Daniel Sedin (VAN-LW) Jason Pominville (BUF-RW) Patrick Marleau (SJ-C/LW)
#2 Philly Vs. #3 London: A matchup that was hard fought at the end of the season with a 6-5 win for London looks to continue its intensity into the 1st round of the playoffs.
Key Players for Philly: Claude Giroux (PHI-C) Erik Karlsson (OTT-D) Phil Kessel (TOR-RW) Pekka Rinne (NAS-G)
Key Players for London: Henrik Lundqvist (NYR-G) Zach Parise (NJ-LW) Jason Spezza (OTT-C) Alex Pietrangelo (STL-D)
