Hockey is Back!

CBA terms have been agreed upon. Season should start in two weeks. Our rookie daft is pretty much done, but free agency needs to happen. Hopefully we can start Yahoo and start filling our rosters.

The yahoo should be up. I just reactivated our league, and i am assuming that sends everyone an email with a link to get in.

Rookie draft is all on your contracts sheet aside from Dustin's final pick.

I am going to need everyone to check their own minors and call up anyone who has surpassed the 40/20 game limit, and post it in the call-ups section prior to the season beginning

Anyone meeting or exceeding the 40/20 limit before the season begins MUST BE CALLED UP prior to the season starting. Anything less than that is allowed to be called up at any point but DOES NOT HAVE TO BE called up until the beginning of next season provided they exceed the 40/20 minimum game limit during this season

Ideally i would like to get everyone signed up to yahoo ASAP, then i can fill the teams in yahoo and we can use their remaining players lists to help us with the frantic FA that we will have. That begins whenever i get everyone signed up on the yahoo league. If you did not receive a League invite due to not participating in the league last year but you are in the league (you drafted) please send me a PM with your email and i will send out an invite.

I prefer your pick be made before camp starts, before teams announce which Junior players are recalled.

Free Agency is easier this year. Not too many teams with money.

And i don't care who is recalled. Not trying to get a minor leaguer who is getting called up and gonna force his way onto my roster next year.

Yup, he seems like the stubborn type that will become even more defiant if they force him to honour his NHL contract. With the lockout, I'm not sure how it will play out. Millions at stake here.

Just waiting on Cleveland. If he gets signed up tonight then FA will Open at 8pm Eastern-5 PM Pacific tomorrow the 10th of January . 24 hour as the highest bid wins you the player. any amount of players can be bid on at the same time as long as all the money is accounted for.

this is mainly due to the short amount of time. so if you want to open bids on 5 guys, go for it as long as you have the cash to back it up.

You are given 72 hours after the bid is won to make room for the player.

and if Kovi or any player ends up not returning to the NHL this year i figure we can at least use that large IR spot that saves you all the cash associated with the deal to help ease the burden.

Looks like he hasn't signed up yet, so i will postpone the opening of FA til Friday January 11th 8pm Eastern 5pm Pacific.

I talked to him and told him if he doesn't have the time, to not do it.

But he says he wants to do it and will be signing up soon.

alright the divisions were fixed and your rosters should be mostly complete now. Drop everyone that doesnt belong on your team, i mearly used them as fillers. And some players didnt come up on my list of avaliable guys so double check to make sure you have everyone and pick up whoever you didnt get assigned.

I added my draftees/prospects on to yahoo to help declog the FA list on yahoo.
None of the contracts habeen purchased and I'll drop them all before the season begins.

i had some mistakes at yahoo roster (I have rights for Brett Connolly not Tim Connolly). I did changes right on yahoo page. Hope that it is not any problem.
