Re: Denver & Indiana Trade Part Deux
Like I said, if u guys want to swap teams I got no problem with it since you're both less than a couples weeks new into the league. Otherwise, this is a little ridiculous don't you think?

Re: Denver & Indiana Trade Part Deux
I certainly appreciate your generous offer. However, we aren't interested in switching teams. We are just trying to build our own rosters. Since we took over for previous owners we haven't had the same luxury of control as everyone else has. I think this trade is beneficial for both parties and is an even trade. Once again, thank you for your offer it is very kind just not what we are looking for.

Re: Denver & Indiana Trade Part Deux
I hope, and it should be obvious that we're both active owners and were/are simply trying to improve our teams, which we just took over - the best we know how. We went into trade talks at 7:00 pm last night and 4 hours later we came up with this. It helps us both reach our desired goal of competing, Indiana this year, and me in a year. There was no way I was going to be very competitive with what I had, I was going to go 4-5 or 3-6, which the occasional 5-4 every week and just limp along in the middle of the pack the next two years, AND, I was not going to have the freedom to make any moves. But now, I'm a lot younger, I free up a lot of space for next year and even have more freedom this year. This is a lot of talent out there and I'm love to get me some of it, but with my present cast of characters and cap space I couldn't.
I never shy away from a good fantasy challenge and took this team as such. And with one fell swoop I think I've cleaned the decks.
Now from Indiana's perspective, he needed a few pieces to win. He's got them now, but he gave up Curry and Cousins and ate some contracts to get it.
We don't want to trade teams, no one wants the team I have, but I'm happy to build, to rise like the Phoenix and win the the league next year.
I did try for the last week to make piece meal moves, I tried to trade my one chip away for some youth, but no one, and I mean no one wanted the contract/or offered me anything of value. So this was the chance and I/we took it. IF we traded teams, then David would be in the same boat I was in... so what's the point. We're both happy with this move and I can start to re-build.
Thanks for your time.
